Here's the video of Davis's poem. He was in outer space when it was his turn to go up and you can hear people including me calling his name. Sorry for the quality... trying to take pictures and video at the same time with a four year old bouncing in your lap isn't easy.

A ripe peach with an ugly bruise

A pair of stinky tennis shoes

A day old ham and cheese on rye

A swimsuit that I left to dry

A pencil that glows in the dark

Some bubble gum I found in the park

A paper bag with cookie crumbs

An old kazoo that barely hums

And one more thing I must confess

His friend Mary Clark read a poem titled "Davis Kissed Me". He kept his ears covered the whole time. I missed the photo op. I hope someone else got it. Also, when he went to get his diploma he tripped. What can I say, he takes after me.
